A new hope for men suffering from erectile dysfunction has begun to be marketed in the United Kingdom.

The device, called NeuroBoost, emits radiofrequency heat waves that increase blood flow, stimulating the nerves and regenerating penile tissue.

Ohh-Med Medical, the american technology company responsible for NeuroBoost, claims that continuous use of the device restores vitality and strength to the penis through radiofrequency-induced blood vessel dilation.

In addition to restoring function, the startup’s research team points out that erections would be prolonged — unlike sporadic medications such as Viagra, which work for a pre-set time.

Studies conducted with the device indicate that nine out of 10 impotent men experienced improved erectile function within two weeks of using the device, which is already being sold in the United Kingdom.

A study conducted by the company in partnership with Healthcare Campus in Chicago, showed that Neuroboost was 98% effective. The results were published in the International Journal of Impotence Research in July this year.

A total of 128 men aged between 41 and 78 with moderate to severe erectile dysfunction were analysed over a two-month period. Each man used the device twice a week in the first month and once a week in the following month.

Of all the volunteers, 114 men achieved normal erectile function by the end of the study period, while three did not notice much difference. The remaining participants took only two weeks to achieve a full and lasting erection.

According to the study, the men reported no side effects.

How to use

The user must insert the penis into the Neuroboost opening: the device’s ring has electrodes that, upon contact with the organ, begin to operate at radio frequency until reaching a temperature of 32 °C.

According to Ohh-Med Medical, the individual should keep the tool’s button pressed continuously during use, which should last 15 minutes. Initially, the therapy should be repeated three times a week and, after a month, the sessions are reduced to twice a week.

The company guarantees that NeuroBoost is a simple, easy-to-use, painless, and non-invasive medical device designed to improve long-term erectile dysfunction in the comfort of your own home.

What health authorities say about the device

NeuroBoost has received approval in Europe, meeting the general safety and performance requirements of all European medical device regulations. As a result, it can now be marketed in the European Union (EU).

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the regulatory agency in the United States, has authorised the medical use of Neuroboost since 2023.

In the United Kingdom, the device will be sold for £37.

All this can be made possible with the NeuroBoost Penile Massager.
